Facilities and Construction Mission Statement


Facilities and Construction Department will engage facilities that will provide functional and creative environments to prepare all children to be successful citizens and workers in the twenty-first century...Whatever it takes.

  • The objectives of the department will be to:
  • Establish construction standards to maximize 21st century technology
  • Implement contracting systems for construction projects that maximize available resources
  • Ensure quality school facilities to accommodate student growth
  • Establish collaborative working relationships with all government entities within itsboundaries.
  • Maximize the joint use of resources with government entities to reduce costs
  • Determine the need for additional space and if approved, obtain that space by relocating district owned leased portables
