The application for community members to join the 2017-2018 Leadership Round Rock ISD cohort is now open. Leadership Round Rock ISD is a District service group where members participate in active discussions and receive an in-depth learning experience about the school district.
Class members will meet monthly from September through May. The sessions occur 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. with the location changing each month.
“This group forum has proven to be a meaningful format in which representatives from across the district come together to actively engage in discussions, furthering the District’s ability to meet the needs of our diverse community.” Community Partnerships Supervisor Rachael Brunson said. “At the conclusion of the eight sessions, cohort members will have a keen appreciation for the complexities of running a large District.”
Five community members from each high school feeder pattern (Cedar Ridge, McNeil, Round Rock, Stony Point and Westwood high schools) will be selected to participate in this year’s program.
Interested applicants can apply online by visiting the Leadership Round Rock ISD site and clicking the apply now button. Applications will be accepted until 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 15. Five applicants from each high school feeder pattern will create a leadership cohort of 25 members.
