When school begins after the start of the new year, the Round Rock ISD PTA Clothes Closet needs help stocking their shelves.
Donating is easy, each Round Rock ISD campus has a donation box designated to collect gently used clothes for the District’s PTA Clothes Closet. Clothes donated to the Clothes Closet serve Round Rock ISD students from Pre- Kindergarten through grade 12.
Rachael Brunson, Round Rock ISD’s community partnerships supervisor, said the most-needed items are denim jeans and winter coats.
“We serve boys and girls at every grade level,” said Brunson. “By helping our students gain access to free, school-appropriate clothing, it helps build their confidence and removes what could be an obstacle to their academic success.”
