Double File Trail Elementary School Mrs. Small’s fifth graders got a lesson in 3D design this week. They used Tinkercad to design a house according to specifications requiring them to use their knowledge about area and volume. The students were able to save their designs and print to DFT’s new 3D printer. A special thanks goes out to our PTA for purchasing the 3D printer and helping our students to become designers and inventors!
