Come join us for some Super FUN sponsored by our Fabulous PTA! The carnival starts at 4:30 and ends at 7:30 tonight. Come join us for Games, Prizes, Food, Community, Bounce Houses, Water and of course, #10YearsOneFamily Fun!

Student Advisory Groups:
We are so proud of the high achievements of all of our students. They excel in character, leadership, fitness and academics. We value the input of parents, staff and community, but are truly all about our Sommer Stallions! This year, we are proud to begin our first Student Advisory Councils composed of our own Sommer Stallions. We are beginning the process by meeting with 4th & 5th grade students who achieved academic recognition of All A’s during the first semester of this school year. Next year, we will extend the process to include a group of 4th & 5th graders each 9 weeks. At Sommer Elementary, our goal is to Develop, Inspire & Empower World Class Leaders and Life-Long. We value not only the input of our teachers, parents and community; but are excited to hear from our Sommer Leaders! Watch for the results from our Stallions! We look forward to their input!

5th Grade EOY Celebration:
Thank you to Everyone for your support during this time of transition! As always, our teachers have worked hard to ensure that our students continue to grow, learn & enjoy their 5th grade year at Patsy Sommer! Details of their end of year trip will be shared this week from your teachers. They have worked hard to plan a fun & engaging time that would be approved at the district level. Here’s to our Legacy! Sommer Stallions…. We can’t be Waitinnn..It’s 2018nn..& We’re Ready to Lead!

My daughter, Harley, 18 now & a Junior in High School, adopted 6 years ago, but has owned my heart since I met her as a 4th grader at my school in Killeen ISD goes to the Georgetown High School Prom with “Her….Garrett…” on Saturday.. Your thoughts appreciated! =)
