Campus News 05.19.2019

Wow! It has been an incredible year full of learning, celebrations, leadership, and compassionate giving by our students!

Kindergarten showcased their last PBL on Thursday combined with their end of year recognition ceremony.  It was a great celebration of the achievements of our youngest Stallions!

This week, we will hold awards ceremonies for our second-fourth graders, grade level recognition for first grade, and the special recognition for our graduating fifth graders.  On Wednesday, our PTA is sponsoring grade level parties for all students.  And Thursday our last day of school, our 5th graders will showcase their aircraft craftsmanship during the annual Flugtag.  See below for the complete schedule.

It has been a fabulous year, and I am so very proud of our Sommer Stallions and staff.  The support of our parents and community is beyond amazing and one of the things that make Sommer such an amazing school!  As we celebrate the end of a great year, recognize our Stallions, and show our pride as our fifth graders make the transition to sixth grade, several of the Sommer teachers celebrate their own high school and college graduates as well.  Tomorrow morning, Georgetown High School has a special event honoring their Seniors that I will be attending for my daughter, Harley.  On Tuesday, I will be flying to Kansas City, MO after the 5th-grade ceremony as I was honored by selection as a Destination Imagination Global Finals Appraiser.  Although I will miss the end of year celebrations, my heart will be with our students at Patsy Sommer!

Thank you for all of your support!
