Student leaders from middle and high school campuses across Round Rock ISD were honored during each feeder pattern’s annual Student Leadership Recognition ceremonies.

The annual events celebrate students who lead campus organizations. Each student received a certificate and participated in a reception following the ceremony.

“Providing opportunities for students to cultivate leadership experience is a responsibility we hold in high esteem in Round Rock ISD,” Superintendent of Schools Dr. Steve Flores said. “We are continually impressed with the students who come to school early, stay late and organize events on weekends to better their school community and grow as leaders.”

The events were organized by the Round Rock ISD Student Advisory Board (SAB), an organization consisting of 21 students from secondary campuses, with a mission to provide advice to Dr. Flores. The group is made up of 10 middle school student council presidents, six high school student council presidents and five high school junior class presidents.
