Superintendent of Schools Dr. Steve Flores named Hope Scallan, Round Rock ISD Enrichment Coordinator, as the Superintendent’s RRock Star for March 2018.

As Enrichment Coordinator, Scallan works to provide more equity and access to enrichment activities across the District. During her time as Coordinator, Scallan has expanded enrichment programming to reach every Round Rock ISD campus. From Destination Imagination to Math Pentathlon, Chess, Elementary UIL, Spanish Academic Meet, BotBall, and more, she is committed to bringing enrichment experiences to all students, said Superintendent of Schools Steve Flores, Ph.D.

“Hope Scallan is passionate about education and tireless in her efforts to help students strengthen their skills and discover new talents and interests through enrichment opportunities,” Flores said. “We are fortunate to have her in this role and fully embody the goal of improving the lives of our students by increasing and promoting challenges and healthy competitions for our students, with an emphasis on how those experiences foster academic growth and social and emotional well-being.”

RRock Star is a distinction awarded by the Superintendent to a member of the RRISD team who impacts students across our District.
