Round Rock ISD has named Jenny Strong the new principal of Brushy Creek Elementary School.

Strong has worked in Round Rock ISD since 2003 and most recently served as assistant principal at Voigt Elementary School Arts Integration Academy. She has also worked as a summer principal for the Student Success Initiative at Live Oak Elementary and teacher at Cactus Ranch and Caldwell Heights elementary schools in Round Rock ISD and Blanton Elementary School in Austin ISD.

“Jenny Strong is an impressive leader with an established reputation of creating collaborative environments where all students are supported,” Superintendent of Schools Steve Flores, Ph.D. said “She believes that all students are capable of reaching success and we are certain she will do an outstanding job of continuing to progress the reputation of overall excellence at Brushy Creek Elementary.”

Strong earned a Master’s in Educational Administration from Lamar University and a Bachelors in Applied Learning and Development from The University of Texas at Austin.

“I am excited to be given the opportunity to join the Brushy Creek community,” Strong said. “I look forward to working alongside all stakeholders to build positive relationships and strive toward continued student success. Together we will make Brushy Creek shine as one of the best schools in Texas!”
