McNeil High School Color Guard with flags

Student band members from across the District will gather Monday, Oct. 1 for the 19th Annual Festival of Bands.

Marching bands and auxiliaries from Cedar Ridge, McNeil, Round Rock, Stony Point, and Westwood high schools will perform marching performances and lead middle school students in group performances. Each high school marching band will perform an exhibition music piece with middle schools in its respective feeder pattern.

Elementary music, middle school, and high school marching band students will perform in this joyous celebration of their talents and showcase the District’s nationally recognized instrumental music programs. The grand finale will be performed by the The Texas State Bobcat Band.

The event is open to the public and held at the Kelly Reeves Athletic Complex, 10211 W Parmer Ln, Austin. Gates open at 6:30 p.m. performances begin at 7 p.m.

Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for students online. Tickets are $8 for adults and $6 for students at the event. Children under 5 years old are admitted free.
