Soon to be graduates transitioning to life after graduation are encouraged to come to the College and Career Action Expo on Monday, June 10 at Cedar Ridge High School in the cafeteria from 4 to 6 p.m.

The College and Career Action Expo is designed to help recent graduates, who are still considering what their life after graduation will look like, discover post-secondary opportunities. Campus counselors will be in attendance to support graduates navigate the Expo.

Graduates from the class of 2019 are advised to come ready to fill out applications for colleges and technical schools that are still accepting applications for the Fall, plus employers who have immediate job, apprenticeship and internship openings for recent high school graduates.

Graduates interested in attending college, trade or technical school can get important information about how to apply for financial aid. A representative from the armed forces will be in attendance to answer questions about careers in the military.

Ogden Payne, contributing music journalist for Forbes magazine and founder of For The Students will be hosting a special information session about careers in the music industry. The information session aims to provide students the opportunity to learn about the realities of the music business from an insider’s point of view.
