For Staff

  • Allow core competencies to be translated into authentic learning experiences
  • Create a positive learning environment that provides opportunities to challenge all learners
  • Ensure schools and classrooms promote student voice and choice
  • Promote the application of design elements that result in rigorous and relevant problem solving opportunities for students
  • Create consistent opportunities for feedback and promote reflection to allow for new ideas and professional growth

For Community

  • Provide a college and career ready workforce through real-world learning experiences
  • Create meaningful opportunities for engaging interactions between community members and classrooms to solve local, relevant issues
  • Support the development and sustainability of positive relationships between students and community stakeholders
  • Engage community stakeholders through work with the Partners in Education Foundation and business advisories
  • Encourage volunteerism
