Actively involved as a Round Rock ISD volunteer, Mary Bone, served as PTA president at Ridgeview Middle School and received Volunteer of the Year in 2019. Dr. Bone is a 2019 Leadership Round Rock ISD graduate, served on the 2018 Round Rock ISD Citizen Bond Committee, and participated in the Round Rock ISD Mentor Program. Dr. Bone has served as an American Heritage Girl leader.
Dr. Bone is a consultant for NASA Engineering and Safety Center. She is also an Associate Professor for University of South-Eastern Norway. She received her Bachelor’s in Aerospace Engineering from Missouri University of Science & Technology, Master’s in Systems Engineering from Iowa State and Ph.D. in Systems Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology.
Dr. Bone and her husband, Jason, have been married 21 years and are proud parents of two children. Her children are active in Orchestra and Theater. She is a current resident of the Forest Creek neighborhood.
