Students, parents, businesses and the community are listed at the top of Round Rock ISD’s organizational chart, followed by the Board of Trustees, Superintendent of Schools, Senior Chief of Schools and Innovation, Chief of Teaching and Learning, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Financial Officer.
In the instructional area, the Senior Chief of Schools and Innovation and Chief of Teaching & Learning are aligned with elementary and secondary campuses and instructional support (e.g., health services and guidance and counseling) to emphasize consistency and efficiency of programs, processes and procedures across the district. The Senior Chief also oversees the athletics, educational support and management information services teams. The Chief of Teaching and Learning also oversees state and federal programs.
On the business side of the organization, the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer manage operations and facilities, budget and financial services, and safety and risk management.
Assessment and internal audit, human resource services, general counsel, and communications and community relations report directly to the Superintendent.
