The Round Rock ISD Community Education Department will provide approximately 180 fun summer activity camps this year for K-12 students and adults, beginning the first week of June through Aug. 3.
Camp activities include academic, engineering, fine arts, life skills, martial arts, science and computer and a variety of sports for students and adults. ACT, SAT, and ASVAB prep classes for high school students are also available. Adult basketball, martial arts and tennis classes are available in the evening and on weekends.
Early registration is encouraged to secure the student’s place in the class. Camp prices start at $105.
“Community Education is excited to offer a variety of engaging enrichment classes this summer,” Community Education Director Lisa Greinert said. “Our goal is to provide our community a fun and fulfilling summer learning environment.”
Camps will be held at three Round Rock ISD campuses: Deerpark Middle School on the west side of the District, Great Oaks Elementary School, centrally located within the District and Ridgeview Middle School, the east side of the District.
The one-week camps are held Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. with an early drop-off program option. All-day camps are available at the Great Oaks location.
Camps will not be held June 29 through July 2 or on Fridays.
