Round Rock ISD is seeking volunteers for the annual School Supplies Sunday/Kutz 4 Kidz event, scheduled for Aug. 20 at Hernandez Middle School.
Volunteers have the opportunity to participate in the action-packed event by helping families navigate the event, serving treats or assisting with activity areas. Shifts begin at 9 a.m. with the final shift beginning at 3 p.m., with an average time commitment of three hours.
Volunteer opportunities are also available prior to the event and include supply sorting on Aug. 17 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 pm; supply packing on Aug.18 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.; and event set-up on Aug.19 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Signing up for volunteer hours is quick and easy through VolunteerSpot:

- Review the options listed and choose opportunities and
- Sign up. Individuals interested in volunteering will not have to register for an account or create a password to sign up on VolunteerSpot.
- Day of event opportunities are limited to adults and high school students 14 years of age and up.
Round Rock ISD, sponsored by the Round Rock ISD Partners in Education Foundation and the Round Rock Police Department, sponsored by dreamBIG™ are partnering for the second year to host the annual Kutz 4 Kidz/ School Supply Sunday event.
