Round Rock ISD, along with 10 local school districts, will host the Destination…LIFE regional transition fair on March 4 to assist students who receive special education services as they prepare for postsecondary life.
The event will be held at the Round Rock High School 100 building, 300 North Lake Creek Drive, Round Rock, from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The fair is hosted by Round Rock ISD, Austin ISD, East Williamson County Co-op, Georgetown ISD, Hutto ISD, Lago Vista ISD, Lake Travis ISD, Leander ISD, Manor ISD and Pflugerville ISD.
The fair is free and all students who receive special education services are welcome. The fair will feature more than 75 booths with agencies and organizations that serve students with disabilities. A series of more than 28 speaker sessions will also be available on a variety of topics like understanding new Medicaid waiver programs, guardianship and alternatives and understanding the Student Success Initiative. Lunch is provided for free.
