The Round Rock ISD STEM Fest, originally scheduled for March 24, has been postponed due to potential severe weather.
District officials are actively working with the City of Round Rock to secure a new date as soon as possible to ensure the event can still be held at the originally planned location at Prete Plaza in Downtown Round Rock.
RRISD STEM Fest is an opportunity for students from Pre-K to middle school to take part in hands-on STEM projects and showcases. The rescheduled event will feature a Cardboard Challenge inspired by Caine’s Arcade, the RRISD Pop Up Library, a showcase from the Round Rock SWAT Team and other activities for students and families.
The RRISD STEM Fest is being held in alignment with Goals 2 and 5 of the District’s Strategic Plan, which aim to expand curriculum and offerings to provide students with varied options earlier in life and to provide students the opportunity to use technology to support their learning.
