Looking sharp and full of smiles for picture day, the Anderson Mill Armadillos had plenty of personality left to share for our camera.
Classrooms were active as math strategies were being practiced and shared between these diligent students. As the littlest “dillos” used blocks and counting, the older ones applied technology to determine solutions. In the library, the students enjoyed the variety of books to choose from displaying excitement about sharing interesting finds with their friends.
The Anderson Mill Elementary Armadillos are genuine critical thinkers, responsible citizens and leaders of the future.
Did you know?:
Anderson Mill Elementary is an International Baccalaureate (IB) school. IB focuses on six themes: who we are, where we are in place and time, how we express ourselves, how the world works, how we organize ourselves, and sharing the planet. Students examine these ideas through a variety of prisms, by considering works that focus on language, social studies, math, arts, science, and personal, social, and physical education.
