Hopewell Middle School Students in Mr. Murphy’s gateway classes are engaged in an activity called Measuring Matters. Students learn the importance of measuring accurately in the creation of skimmers. Once the skimmers are constructed, students compete to see which skimmers will travel the furthest distance.
