Meet Faye Johnson, our teen parent homebound teacher.
In her role, Faye supports our teen parents by creating an environment conducive to learning. She collects assignments from teachers, delivers assignments to the student, introduces new concepts, returns completed assignments, assists students with assignments, proctors exams, provides weekly updates, assists with the care of infants as needed, and encourages students to reach their goals. Faye has been employed in the teen parent program for over ten years – starting in 2013.
Faye joined the District in 2007, as interim coordinator of the general education homebound department.
Outside of work, Faye loves to travel and loves to be of service to others.
