Austin Chamber of Commerce has awarded Shop LC with its Business Champions in Education award for its significant support of students and staff members in the Round Rock Independent School District.

Round Rock ISD nominated Shop LC for this prestigious award which recognizes outstanding businesses who are helping prepare, inspire, and provide opportunities to students and adults across K-12 and higher education. Shop LC has hosted teachers and students for career education, donated face masks and hand sanitizer to the District, and sponsored holiday events for students and their families.

“Shop LC’s stated purpose is to deliver joy directly to customers, business partners and the community,” said Rachael Sefton, Round Rock ISD’s community partnerships supervisor. “They have certainly delivered joy to our students and we were proud to nominate Shop LC for this much-deserved recognition.”

Michelle Long, Shop LC’s Director of Communication and Corporate Social Responsibility said education has always been a priority for the company.

“Serving children in an educational setting is a primary social responsibility effort for Shop LC and is near and dear to our heart,” Long said. “Partnering with Round Rock ISD is a perfect way to tie our mission to our local community.”

Round Rock ISD has a robust partnership program and welcomes business and community partners. Visit the Community Partnerships web page for more information about how to partner with the District.
