Teravista Elementary Leadership Academy has achieved the distinguished recognition of being a FranklinCovey Education Leader in Me® Legacy Lighthouse School. Teravista is the first school in Texas and the sixth school in the world to earn the status of a Leader in Me Legacy School. This prestigious designation is the highest honor granted to Leader in Me schools.

Teravista became a Leader in Me Lighthouse school in 2014. A school must maintain its Lighthouse School certification for a minimum of eight years, exhibit innovation and sustainable levels of Lighthouse criteria growth, and continuously makes a distinctive contribution to the Leader in Me community and/or education community at large to qualify to become a Leader in Me Legacy School.

“Our emphasis on leadership provides every student the opportunity to lead and develop successful habits to help navigate their life at school and within the community,” said Principal Michael Wakefield. “We are proud of our mission to learn, love, and lead in all we do and extraordinarily honored to be recognized as a Legacy School.”

At Teravista Elementary Leadership Academy, every child is a leader – sharing a common language, and united through the practice of FranklinCovey’s The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People©.

Teravista Elementary Leadership Academy is open to out-of-district student transfers through Friday, May 19.
