Loretta Garcia-Finder has been named the new principal of Robertson Elementary School.

Garcia-Finder has served as the associate principal of Robertson since 2022 and, during that time, helped lead improvements in campus intervention procedures and streamline processes to address students’ academic and behavioral needs. Before her time at Robertson, she served as an assistant principal at Redbud Elementary School and Union Hill Elementary School. She has 20 years of experience in education. She is also a graduate of the District’s Team One Program, designed to provide aspiring principals with professional development relevant to the principal role.

“I am honored and overjoyed to be named the proud principal of Vic Robertson Elementary,” Garcia-Finder said. “I look forward to continuing to strengthen relationships with all campus stakeholders and building a collective vision that ensures academic and social emotional success for every student. Garcia-Finder earned her Master’s in Educational Administration from Concordia University and a Bachelor’s in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Texas San Antonio.
