Round Rock ISD’s Pathways in Technology Early College High School (P-TECH) is a public-private partnership involving Austin Community College and St. David’s Healthcare that will prepare students for high-skill health science jobs.

In the Fall, eligible freshmen will embark on a four-year seamless high school and college coursework program focused on the proposed workforce pathway of licensed vocational nurses ( LVN ). Students can earn their high school diploma, industry-based certification, a Level 1 or Level 2 certification and/or transcript college credit toward an Associate degree culminating in an A.A.S. degree at no cost. P-TECH Early College High School opens at Cedar Ridge High School in the Fall of 2024.

Eighth-grade students from all 11 District middle schools who meet all requirements for promotion from eighth to ninth grade are eligible to apply. Students must submit their completed application, including three questions and educator recommendation, by Friday, March 8. Student acceptance notifications will start going out the week of March 25.
