Jennifer Wagner has been named Round Rock ISD’s Director of Behavioral Health Services.

Wagner leads the Behavioral Health team, which is now part of the Student Support Services team at the District. She said she’s excited about the positive impact the move will have on their day-to-day working relationships with other departments on campus.

“I’m thrilled to join our wonderful school district as director of Behavioral Health Services,” Wagner said. “Our team of social workers is incredibly dedicated to the well-being of all students, and I look forward to working with them as I lead the department.”

Wagner’s career in mental health has included work in outpatient, inpatient and residential settings with children, adolescents, and adults. She has worked in clinical and leadership roles, and has provided services for the treatment of addiction and primary mental health care.

“I’m confident Jennifer Wagner will be an effective leader and advocate for students,” said Superintendent Hafedh Azaiez. “Her leadership will allow us to enhance the level of support we provide our students.”

Wagner earned her undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Texas at Austin, and master’s degree in social work from Fordham University in New York.
