Proof of Residency Required Documents
Any one of the following items must be provided as a valid Proof of Residency:
- Mortgage statement dated within 45 days.
- Purchase Agreement/New Home Contract of Sale.
- If the estimated date of closing is not included in your Purchase Agreement/New Home Contract of Sale, a letter from the builder containing your name, the address of where the home is being built and expected date of closing will be required.
- Please note: A Purchase Agreement/New Home Contract of Sale is considered to be a temporary proof of residency. Once you close on your home, you will be required to provide a current utility bill to the campus where your student is attending.
- Current Rental/Lease Agreement.
- Legal affidavit regarding sublease.
- Current utility bill in the parent’s/guardian’s name which includes a service address and must be dated within the last 45 days (P.O. Box is not acceptable):
- Electricity/Gas
- Water
- Cable/Internet
- Trash
If the parent/guardian and student reside in the same dwelling with someone else and have no proof to substantiate that living arrangement, a Statement of Residency form must be notarized and submitted.
- The person with whom the parent/guardian and student are living with must provide a valid form of Proof of Residency as stated above.
