Regular meetings of the Board of Trustees are usually held on the third Thursday of each month unless scheduled otherwise. The Board normally meets in closed session at 6:00 p.m, followed by a public session starting at 7:00 p.m. These meetings take place in the Round Rock High School Lecture Hall at 300 Lake Creek Drive in Round Rock, Texas.

Meetings are usually broadcast over Cable TV Access Channels 10 (Round Rock) and ATT Uverse Channel 99.
Agenda items are posted at the Administration Building at least 72 hours prior to each meeting. Citizens are invited to attend board meetings and may address the board regarding any agenda item.
Regular monthly meetings include a public forum for individuals who wish to address the board regarding student education and board business not on the agenda, including policies, curriculum and facilities. Concerns or complaints regarding specific individuals should not be raised in public forum; they must be considered separately according to applicable board policies.
Presentations by individuals are limited to three minutes. Groups are encouraged to appoint a spokesperson, who may have up to five minutes. Issues raised in public forum receive no board action or comment; however, trustees may refer items to the administration and/or place them on a subsequent board agenda. Policies BE and BED address public participation at board meetings.
