Student Responsibilities

To achieve successful completion of the Disciplinary Alternative Education Program, the student must strive to:

  1. Come to school daily with a positive attitude.
  2. Display safe, respectful and responsible behavior at all times.
  3. Complete assigned academic and social skills tasks.
  4. Share Daily Behavior Report Card with parent.

Students must wear the school uniform of a white shirt and blue jeans or blue shorts. No designs or logos may be worn on shirts or pants/shorts. Socks and tennis shoes are required. Jewelry, head gear and boots are not allowed. Hair must be natural color.

When students have demonstrated successful completion of the program for their assigned term, they may return to their home campus or the program that is determined to be the most appropriate educational setting.

Absences do not count toward completion of a student’s term and these days must be made up.

Further violations of the Student Code of Conduct may result in additional disciplinary action including a longer stay at the DAEP.

Prescriptions must be sent to school in an appropriately labeled prescription bottle with a copy of the doctor’s orders regarding its use.
