What happens at our School?

Students learn how to ask challenging questions, think critically, develop research skills and apply them within a global context. We encourage students to think independently and drive their own learning, to grow as open-minded, reflective inquirers.

We put kids first

Our community of educators supports and guides students as they discover the approaches to learning needed for academic and personal success. We aim to make a positive change in the world by growing hearts and minds through dynamic cycles of inquiry, action and reflection.

Students will have access to:

  • Multi-linguistic and intercultural curriculum
  • Global engagement
  • Cross-integrated lessons
  • Integrated technology
  • Exposure to college and career choices
  • Flexible and collaborative learning spaces
  • Outdoor learning spaces
  • Individualized learning
  • Service learning
Mission
Together, the Chandler Oaks Elementary community of educators, students and families create an enriched learning environment where all feel safe, valued, and prepared to reach their full potential. Students are immersed in curriculum structured by Round Rock ISD (what we teach) and a technology-infused environment within the IB Framework (how we teach). Families are our partners in education; as one, we are learners who appreciate individuality, embrace differences, and work to create a more peaceful world around us.
Vision

Chandler Oaks Elementary aspires to be an academically exceptional, collaborative community, that ignites students to be responsible, globally-minded, 21st Century learners.

History

Chandler Oaks opened its doors in August 2010. We are proud to be an IB World School offering the Primary Years Programme.
