Elementary students showcase art

Selected works from each of our elementary schools is on display at the Raymond E. Hartfield Performing Arts Center, 5800 McNeil Drive, Austin. The 20th Annual Elementary Art Exhibition is a showing of selected works from our thirty-three elementary school campuses representing art students in kindergarten through fifth grade. The show is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. through March 31.

Jollyville students show off science projects

The hallways at Jollyville Elementary were filled with tri-fold science projects from wall-to-wall last week for the annual science fair. All third, fourth and fifth-grade students were interviewed about their projects by independent volunteer judges and assigned scores and places.

Following the fair, students and families were invited to Science Fair Night January 29 to find out which projects won ribbons.
