Employee Text Messaging
Employees can opt into receive text messages from the district and their campus
Available Now!
Employees can now opt into text messaging to receive important notifications from the district and your campus such as:
- Weather notifications: school closures or delays
- Timely updates from your campus: change of events, lockdowns, and more!
You can opt out at any time.
This option has previously only been available to Round Rock ISD parents.
Opt in Today
To opt into text messaging you will need to access your Employee Self Service (ESS) account.
Privacy Information
Opting into text messaging does NOT affect the privacy of your contact information.

Make sure…
When you access your Employee Self Service (ESS) account to opt into text messaging, you must have two settings selected for it to work:
- The “Type” must be CELL PHONE, not home phone
- The “Opt into text messages” box must be checked

CELL PHONE (not home)

Check the box that says “Opt in to text messages”
